We aim as much as possible to use the outdoors as another classroom. Our site provides us with wonderful spaces for learning, with the children regularly doing maths, English and foundation curriculum activities in our Wild Area, playground, school field and garden. We also make use of the village and local area for walks, art and writing. All children have at least an hour a week in our Forest School with our resident expert, Mrs Wilson. These sessions are designed to explore and problem solve in natural surroundings. 

Outdoor learning provides the chiren with opportunities to work, explore and create together as well as:

• Improved connections with the natural world
